Education Programs and Tours

The Michigan Women’s Historical Center and Hall of Fame has a wide array of Michigan women’s history topics that we’d love to present to your group. Tours in the Hall of Fame gallery can focus on a specific topic or give a general overview of the Hall of Fame and the museum’s current exhibit.

Educational programs targeted toward a youth audience can be hosted at the MWHOF or brought to your organization or classroom.

For programs outside of the museum, we ask for the standard speaker’s bureau fees.

For specially-designed programs and tours at the museum, a $5 fee per person is charged.

Presentations include:

  • Petticoat Patriots: How Michigan Women Won the Vote
  • Not Just a Man's War: Michigan Women and the Civil War
  • Women Who Dared to Lead: Michigan Women in Politics
  • STEMinists: Michigan Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
  • Courage in Action: Stories of Michigan Women in the Civil Rights Movement
  • Black, Bold, and Beautiful: Michigan’s Great African American Women
  • Eves: The “Firsts” of Michigan’s Women
  • Great Girls in Michigan History
